About Tramway

Tramway is Glasgow's international centre for contemporary art and performance, housed in a former tram repair depot in Pollokshields. Since its conversion in 1989 it has hosted landmark productions by Peter Brook, Robert Wilson and many others, alongside a world-class music programme. Its vast industrial spaces and experimental ethos attract artists who don't fit conventional stages, making it unlike any other venue in Scotland.
